maybe cos i made the right decision to sleep before/ on the dot of 12 midnight for the past two nights.. so mon and today i was pretty clear-headed:)
todays lessons are way crazy. 3 hours then 1h30min break then 5 hours of lessons! WAHH. luckily i survived thru. yay thank God!
OHH today i had a (very delayed) realisation! tt is, i know why maths is so tong ku for me in hwachong! cos the teachers just GO THRU. unlike the ny system which im so accustomed to. where they pause to give u time to do and use ur brain. b4 going thru.
so i shld try to be more yong gong and do qns ahead or sth..or end up just copying answers.

to CINS and IAN: AHHH I LOVE YOU ALL! thank you so much for the super sweet card and milkybar today! it was unexpected and made my day seriously!:D yay im really so blessed to have such tie xin de peng you.. cheer up too kays!
im still in the yl mood! cant seem to shake it off at all! guess its not just the camp but everyone in it that made it hard to forget. batchmates, snrs. and also all the cheers and songs that keep ringing in my head. feel like doing the cherokees anthem with actions all over tgt :) okay zihigh. HAHAH
so renice and zhenrui are the i/cs for yl night! todays the first mtg and the turnout was not bad. we got most of the things organised. :) Whoa shall plan yl nite to be a good one!
had a short talk w yux. hahaha and she was talking abt cg on fri and i went " ohh combined ah ? at istana park?" and i was so spot-on :D !hehehs and another thing. oh man nanyang is crazy. they changed common tests (spreaded out 50min in-class tests) to BLOCKS. meaning they have to do full paper like eoys. SIAO. and the sec4s have bio math and LA tmr. really can kill man. JIAYOU ALL NY PEEPS!
anw im blogging at an unearthly hour again. tmr can wake up late and its cip! woots!
this '3 day' week (excluding tmr founders day and gd fri) had been quite tiring though its short! catching up on all the work ive neglected due to yl. arghhh. i need to mug more over the weekend, falling behind alrdy! math class test was do-able but i cldnt recall the concepts so ive probably flunked it :(.
gd fri is coming= CAREGROUP! :D and im looking forward alot to sat! (pls say you can come!)
its been a while since ive picked up my guitar and had personal worship but i did it last night and it felt really refreshing :)

you have just looked at the MOST SPIRITED group of YLTC 2008-cherokees! :D
yeah fellow cherokees! we did it tgt! we may not be very zi-high or hiong all the time(singing our grp anthem is always an exceptn;)) or have very nice sounding cheers and songs or the loudest group but im really glad that thru all times we stayed positive and supported one another. tts what being MOST SPRITED is about mans! the fact that its never a one-man show in our group and we can depend on one another :) i love the cherokees!
just came back ytd from yltc, and the 5 days of the march hols had really flew past quickly. yltc had been a very different experience from all the guides camp ive ever been to. it was physically, mentally challenging- esp during MROC(mass return of counts) and dorm checks. but im proud to have pulled thru all these with cherokees! and of course with 34th!
to the girls:
oh man i'll never forget out sessions of return of counts! we cheered we screamed so loud till it bounced off the walls and the instructors had to cover their ears. and some could hear us from the canteen! i proud survived dong nan xi bei tgt and all. :)
and to guys:
i know you guys had pulled thru alot trying to clear not just dorm counts but BATCH COUNTS. and im thankful for that!
34th, WHOA!
we have 43 ppl. tts alot of ppl! and trying to bring the batch tgt isnt easy. but thru these 5 days really glad that we have survived thru yl together. and im sure we have the batch spirit! wont forget MROC and also the night we built our structure from spars or the times we sang the batch anthem w pride. nxt up is yl nite! go WHOA!

1 term has passed! i agree TOTALLY to the idea that jc life is short. 1/8 of it has just ended.
this term has been very very eventful. 1 term in a complete different environment. suddenly i not around central, central c , jcsbpy, 407, guides but instd theres hccg, og5, 08s77, WHOA, cherokees. yeah :)
to central c and jcsbpy: absence makes a heart grow fonder. really hope i can catch up w some of you guys soon!
to 08s77: the bunch of ppl that i would be spending two years with. hope the 1 year and 3 terms ahead would be better ones for our class bonded-ness (and our grades!)
to 0g5- its was really great JUMPSTART-ing the year w you guys :) thank you for making hwachong life livelier too!
to hccg: yay im enjoying the company of you guys more and more thru the last month:D and i know we all love God so lets jiayou tgt in building up our lives and His kingdom esp in this easter period! im proud to be part of hccg :)
to WHOA/cherokees: hahaha. what can i say besides: LETS JIAYOU FOR YL! :D
yes, there are many things that could have been done better for the past term. my studies hasnt been looking great.. it kind of scares me that i cant seem to not fall asleep during many lectures/tutorials. arghhh. this has been so since i entered ny... or as far as i can rmb.
no, calean is not bo chap of her studies :((
i felt quite frustrated on sat morn doing the math assignment and just cant draw out y^2=f(x) or y= 1/f(x). despite working on it for an amt of time that could probably have been used to finish my bio tutorial.
but today during service, God reminded me that i still can put my hope in Him
yes i do pray for strength yet still hopelessly fall asleep or feel super lethargic or tt my face seems so spell out constant tiredness.
but that doesnt mean God doesnt help and God doesnt cares. cos He had already shown it on the cross and tts all that i need to know.

one post every week :)
i love ny, they sent the cheque i was supposed to collect from GO ages ago by post mail! :D:D yay nanyang rocks. i bet now all the ppl in ny are having fun at LSC! ahhh envious. i miss GRACES. it was the slackest sch camp in my life ever :D
sat was rather fruitful. started off w oac precamp in the morn which was quite fun :D considering there was much lesser PT then usual and i amazingly did enjoy myself in the orienteering activity. getting high over our group anthem :D! had lunch with ex-es for say 30 min then rushed off for svc!
wahhh. i cant stand it when i have a husky voice (like now). strains to talk and i cant sing :(. cld barely do free worship, v tong ku!
i cant rmb what God spoke to me during the first worship song.... ahhhh.
aft svc i went the the first unit mtg w JC central. :) and the teaching reminded me of alot of things. particularly the part of being overly contented with where i am now. i really need to learn to have the spirit of discontentment and humility.
and so sunday came, 2nd march 2007 was THE DAY ive decided to be water baptised :) a mark of a fresh new start in God, definitely much more to look forward to in my walk with Him.
Calean means pure (actual meaning) and i like to see it as calling and leaning on God (all the time!)
V IMPT. I would like to thank: XIANGYU, TIANRUO, LIPING, WANCHIEN, SHARLENE, JUNYAO, YIYUAN, SAMUEL CHENG, CALE, and also JOANG BRIDGET SHER(i hope i rmbed correctly!)
for coming down to support me for water bap <3! brudder wanchien dai bing zai shen somemore. XIEXIENI :D liping for the flower, xiang for the handdrawn 'cert' and many others the cards. appreciate it loads guys!
im glad both my parents and my sis were there too :) im really blessed.
aft going thru so much with Him, seeing how much my life has been changed, Calean is definitely NOT AFRAID to declare that God is so real in her life :) no matter what people may think.
man, if one day i forget how good God has been to me and choose to walk out on God i should really go bang myself against the wall.
for all that ive promised You, and what You've planned for me to be,
