The hospitality of the hope hk people is really AMAZING! sing zai esther hin hin esp. man. can u imagine they had to wake up bright and early, travel down to meet us at 8am and followed us ALL THE WAY till past midnight. wow. i really miss them now!
it has been a great 4-5 days of learning, interacting with people all over the hope movement and getting to know many new friends personally :) i wont get down to sharing much here but just a few things that impacted me.
first thing. im coming back from this lc with many faces in mind, people who are so sold out, hard out in loving God and serving him.. really. spirit touch spirit. its been a GREAT privilege to be there to talk to them, listen to them, be inspired, be prayed for, be challenged. i was listening to the recordings on the bus today, where torchie was speaking to the ppl in youth minstry of hope movement, aunty angela's 'Q and A' session with us...
"it comes from a love relationship with God. that you love the Lord so much that out of gratitude of your heart, you are willing to lay your life down for Him"
when i listen to their convictions in serving God, it touched my heart so greatly.. If God is not real, these people are really..stupid to choose to give so much to Him.
another thing that hit me would be the humility of all the people there at LC. yes they mostly are HIGHLY respected leaders, church planters, pastors. yet they have such a humble heart! its so evident, the way they listen, encourage, reach out. the joy and the sparkle in their eyes when they share about God working through their lives and yeah, ALWAYS thanking God :)
stumbling stumbling. discouraged, making mistakes, sinning, tired, guilt, feel like quitting, compromising. they have gone through it ALL. and still pick themselves up, come before God, settle things, and carry on.

5Simon answered, "Master, we've worked hard all night and haven't caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets."
because God says so, it doesnt matter all our situations or what we can see.. got to still lay down my nets and expect a BIG BIG catch!
