its wed today aka today theres oac.. i realise i blog so unfrequently that i dont know how far back should think and blog about.. oac's been pretty happening nowadays :) Atlantis, yl night and now bike hike! atlantis was slack for snrs.. hahaha. and considering my stations are WCP (in the morn), TPY block 152 and airport T3, i didnt have to suffer getting burnt under the sun unlike the serangoon ppl :P my cut from atlantis just recovered >< tts super long i realised.. just checkd. gosh atlantis was like 11 days ago. and im blogging abt it 11 days later. oh wells.

okay more recent stuff. nows the period where the 35th batch will be decided.. after the session today we are still going to talk abt it agn on fri before bike recce. i suppose most of the jnrs are quite emo about it.. didnt talk to any of them abt it though><.. just hope WHOA will make good decisons abt this.

anw. may is coming up soon.. weekends are gonna be tiring considering that theres bike hike every sat except the 3rd one ! but for now im excited for the experience :D. its a new route, LESS SLOPES. yay! last sun had mini bike hike at ubin with taman jurong organised by ad chiefs.. and i realise my cycling skills are quite limited. i cant steer well- sharp turns are totally not in my limits (no wonder i fell the last bike hike when i didnt go slow at the turn). starting off from stationary quite lousy too- must kick quite a bit and will swerve. will try my best to stay out of any accidents.

and i realise. running can still run halfway daydream or think of God and pray while running esp since its much of a mental strength thing.. bt cycling on straight roads= auto pilot mode. hahaha. maybe thats why charlton can fall asleep on his bike :/

so perhaps some slopes are good.

when 'slopes' come i shldnt whine and complain why the road ahead aint straight. cos its not going to be just another slope. its part of a bigger roadmap that i believe is best planned. By Him.

lol. i suddenly rmb my bike hike grp's self-motivating line when we battled the nasty slopes last year until leg cramp:

"when theres a upslope, theres a downslope!"

♥ Easter

saturday afternoon-evening was spent with the unit:) at "THE LAST SUPPER" at huiwei's condo. the place is so nice and so new! high ceiling function room! so new it still had the strong plastic smell. planning process was not all smooth sailing. slipup with the pasta sauce etc. but sighh. nvm. taken as experience gained.

i enjoyed how it ended :D playing monkey with a tennis ball. and discussing xiuwen's fav topic :P girls talk. hahaha. this time the new combination of people made it interesting.

AND WE DID A WHOOSH! :D hahahaha! (inside joke)


sunday is easter! during service, there was a screening of a video which related a true incident of a married couple who broke up and reunited. i admire the courage of the couple who came up after that and shared so openly and explictly the series of events and how they felt at each point of time.

and i think a line that struck me most was (spoken by kelly) " i think if i were to forgive, it would take me more than myself to do so?"

very often ppl would see the person who forgives as super wei da. cos its really hard to do so esp towards someone you had trusted so much- the wound is so much deeper. yet, i like how in their story the wife expressed that it wasnt abt how big her heart was to forgive then but it was knowing that God forgives and forget first. so she chose to let go.

haiya. once again. i have afterthoughts but no idea on how to put them in words. sooo just have to leave with this verse.

easter is alot quieter when you dont experince bringing someone across the line.

yay yay yay its the end of the sch week! :) didnt really dawned upon me till the end of cg today where shar reminded me. this wk feels pretty short.. couple of late nights. mon night was spent working on the gp essay presentation! we rather hardworkingly stayed up till 2am to do it till our brains felt fried. hahah. oh wells. it turned out not too bad.. and THANK GOD. the next day there was council qna and elections which effectively meant we only had gp 1.5h lesson that day!!

wed aft sch was the third day of oac interviews then apa post mortem! :) talking w apa is quite fun! they wont stone and not talk halfway which is gd. and they offered to treat us pizza to clear counts :D so we had pizza for dinner! yayyyyy!
sometimes i just feel quite thankful that apaches 09 turned out to be quite a nice grp to be with! aft all, precamps attendence not v gd, two of them were injured, raphael not there. plus i will randomly mia halfway through dinner , which is probably precious time to bond with ur group, to talk about dorm/recre stuff .and they barely know their exes too><. sooo. though they may not be super bonded relative to other groups like shawnees for e.g , im still proud to be their GI :) hahaha i look fwd to seeing what performance they can come up w to clear their 4 remaining counts during yl night :P
